There are many ways to exercise, so how do you decide which ones to do? It all depends on what you want to achieve.
It’s best to start with dumbbells and / or barbells. The weight and repetitions you lift depends on your capability. Go to a store and try out those dumbbells. Don’t pick the heaviest ones you can lift; pick the ones you feel you can lift repeatedly.
Don’t add to the repetitions too quickly. It’s better to try different postures. You can lift the weights standing up, sitting down or on your back. Don’t hold your breath when lifting weights, and wear gloves.
While this is one of the best ways to exercise and gain muscles, you’ve got to take your time. Don’t add to the weights until you’re absolutely capable of lifting the current weight comfortably.
Reduce Belly Fat
Lie flat on your back and your feet firmly on the ground. Lock your hands together and set them below your ears. Lift your body up until your forehead touches the knees. Don’t drag your feet forward. Repeat this at least 10 times.
Increase the repetitions by 5 every week. An easier version of the sit up is to lift your body until the elbows touch the knees.
The leg stretch is another one of the top ways to exercise and lose stomach fat. Lie on a flat surface. Lift your legs up without dragging your body. Try to keep your legs as straight as possible during the process. Lower it (again keeping it straight) and repeat. Repeat 10 times.
Increase Overall Physical Strength
Running is one of the easiest ways to increase your endurance and stamina. The key here is to start slowly. Try running for 10 minutes every day, preferably at the same time.
Stick to this schedule for at least a week or two. Add five minutes per week until you get to 20 minutes. You can stick to this duration or add more minutes if you can handle it.
Other Ways to Exercise
If you are serious about working out, enroll in a gym or buy several pieces of exercise equipment. Look at the costs of a gym membership vs. buying each individual piece. If you decide to make your own home gym, study the exercise equipment carefully. Decide which ones you really need.
Push ups are among the most effective ways of developing chest and
shoulder strength. 20 minutes of aerobics will promote greater body flexibility. This also helps your body and joints develop resistance to injury.
Don’t push yourself too hard when exercising. Take a break every 20 minutes and drink plenty of water during and after exercise. Consult your doctor first if you have heart problems before exercising. Don’t lift heavy weights if you have eye problems. The strain might have an adverse effect on your eyes.
